Yes, there really is a Fan Man. Meet Tom Fields. He is the creator and owner of FANMAN, Inc. He has done business in the greater Sacramento area for over 20 years installing the exclusive Delta Breeze Whole House Fan. Prior to FANMAN, Tom Fields completed the electrical apprenticeship program and received his journeyman wireman card in 1980. He continued to work as a union electrician until 1988. At that time, Tom became a licensed contractor through the Contractors State License Board. His classifications include—C10 (electrical), C20 (heating & air conditioning), B (general contracting) and HIC (home improvement certification).

As a contractor, Tom worked on many residential and commercial projects in the Sacramento area. Realizing the importance of air movement in this climate, Tom would inform his clients about the value of fans. He soon became nicknamed, THE FANMAN.  Unlike some contractors, Tom is a working contractor. He can be found out in the field, wearing a tool belt, working right alongside the men who work for him.
